This is the first bike i bought, and i have fun assembling it without any understanding of the outdated manual or Japanese language. Took a few hours. The most difficult part is the front wheel, as i did it on my own and made a mistake turning the whole front stem + suspension fork 180 degree. Later i also realized it was easier sitting facing the front of the bike and lifting it up (instead of doing at the side of the bike). So that i can have a clearer view and slot in the circular disc brake into the brake holder/assembly, Then secure with the quick release axle. The disc brake is on the left side of the bike ( when riding). The rest of the assembly is easy as ABC. =). Pity, there is one missing nut to secure the front reflector, else I would have given it five stars. Hopefully it is durable.
It's cute and light, but very difficult. Not workable out of the box. Not practical for commuting.

The package arrived partially unconstructed, but it was easy enough to set up (adding a pedal, etc.).The bike arrived with one extremely flat tyre, so I had to get a pump (I should have had this anyway). The bike has no lock, so you have to haul this as well. No light, so you need one of those also. The folding is relatively simple, but you need to put the handlebars and the seat all the way down to fold it. I replaced the pedals with small folding ones in order to fit the bike into the Dahon slip mini bag, as indicated by a different reviewer. Even this was not enough, as the bag cannot be closed around the handlebars. Folding the handlebars carries some difficulty. In order to carry this on the train, one must use a very large bag (usually for 18+ inch wheels) and it is not very practical for every day commuting. In the end I will just park a big mamachari at the station. In a car or on occasion it should be fine.On the first ride, the seat fell (and me along with it). It needs tightening and verification. To pedal takes a lot more strength than I expected, even on a flat surface. The bike feels every vibration and change of surface, I suppose expected by the wheel diameter. Finally, for anyone taller than 170cm, it is not appropriate. The seat can be high enough, but the handlebars cannot. This causes some awkward riding for tall people.
